Winter Sports Senior Nights

We look forward to celebrating our Winter sports senior nights for the class of 2021.  Just a reminder that we will not be using our traditional ‘final home game’ format this season due to the uncertainty of covid.  Below is a list of the dates and times for our respective Winter sports.  Please note that

Wrestling & Indoor Track

Just a reminder that all of our Winter sports have started practice other than Wrestling & Indoor Track.  The official first day of practice for those groups are: High School Wrestling – Friday, November 13 – 3:30-5:15 pm Junior High Wrestling – Monday, November 16 – 6:00-7:30 pm High School Indoor Track – Monday, November

HHAF Hart Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to our 2020 Hart Scholarship winners!! Each winner will receive $2000.00 a year for 4 years to fund their college education. Bailey Koss is the daughter of Brian and Heather Koss. She will be attending Sinclair Community College and Wright State University, majoring in Nursing. At Wayne High School, Bailey participated in Cross Country

Five Wrestlers Advance To Districts

Wayne Wrestling had another great showing at the OHSAA Sectional Meet over the weekend.  The team had a 5th place overall finish with five different individuals advancing to Districts this weekend at Trent Arena.  A special congrats to Jacob Padilla, Austin Mullins & Joshua Padilla as they all brought home District titles!  Jaden Hardrick (2nd) 

Wrestling Postponed To Sunday

Due to a water main break at Centerville HS, the Sectional Wrestling for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday.

Wrestling Heads To Sectionals

Our Varsity Wrestling team begins their postseason this weekend with Sectional action at Centerville High School.  They will compete Friday with competition starting at 6:00 pm & Saturday at 10:00 am.  We hope you can be there to support Wrestling as they look to continue what has been an impressive season.  Wayne Train!

Wrestling GWOC Championship

The Varsity Wrestling squad heads to the GWOC Championship this Saturday (Feb. 15).  The event is at Trent Arena in Kettering with wrestling beginning at 10:00 am.  We hope to see you there as our guys compete for GWOC titles.

Wrestling Senior Night

Tonight we will be celebrating a special group of Wrestling Seniors as they compete in their final home match.  Weigh-Ins will start at 5:00, Senior recognition at approximately 6:00 and the meet begins at 6:30.  We hope to see you in the Muntz Gym tonight.
