Congratulations to the boys track team for winning the District Championship yesterday, held at Wayne. The boys team out scored Trotwood 131-95.5 to win the Championship. The top four in each event advance to the Regional Championship held next week at Welcome Stadium on Wednesday and Friday. Results from the meet were:

4 x 800 Relay – Jalil Pollard, Henry Jones, Jacob Miller and Lucas Houk (1st)

100m Hurdles – Justin Harris (2nd), Terrion McGhee (8th)

100 m Dash – Zarik Brown (2nd)

4 x 200 Relay – Zarik Brown, Kevin Wright, Justin Harris, and Caleb Butcher  (2nd)

1600 m Run – Lucas Houk (1st)

4 x 100 m Relay – Devonte Jackson-Reddick, Kevin Wright, Justin Harris and Zarik Brown (2nd)

400 m Dash – Joe Collins (4th), Henry Jones (5th)

The girls team earned a third place finish behind Troy and Northmont. The girls also have many relays and individuals advancing to Regionals next week. Results from the girls are:
