17796532_1479372048793634_3346826468283253053_nWayne Warriors Varsity Softball defeated Centerville 12-2 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at two with Wayne Warriors batting in the bottom of the fourth when Bree Musick hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run.
Wayne Warriors secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the fifth inning. Wayne Warriors Varsity Softball ‘s big inning was driven by a single by Sam Boyer, a single by Makaila Foy, a single by Sky Edwards, a walk by Morgan Santos, a single by Marissa Philpott, and a error.
Centerville took an early lead in the first inning. Karrie Mires drove in one when she singled in the first inning.

Brickman (3-3) and Philpott (3-4) each managed three hits to lead Wayne Warriors Varsity Softball . Wayne Warriors Varsity Softball was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Brickman had the most chances in the field with five.
