Matt Krauskopf & Jacoi Jackson
Jacoi Jackson is the daughter of Jaron & Autumn Jackson. She currently has a 4.039 GPA. She is a senior tennis player. Jacoi participates in National Honor Society and French Club
Why do you participate in this sport? and What do you like about it?“I participate in this sport because all the girls on my team are super nice and friendly. Also it is really fun to play even if it is not as fun to watch. The best is when you win against someone who is on the same skill level as you. Nothing is as satisfying as after a long hard fought match, with you and your opponent going back to deuce about 50 times in one game and you finally win the match. You and your teammates are so happy because when a match is good even the coaches from the other team have to congratulate you.”
Name of someone you look up to and why?“I look up to my mom because she is sweet and loving and we have similar personalities. She is tough and always puts family first.”
Matt Krauskopf is the son of James & Teresa Krauskopf. He currently has a 4.505 GPA. He is ranked 2nd in his graduating class. As a senior, Matt competes for the Cross Country team. He also is apart of the Track team and National Honor Society. He plans to attend the University of Cincinnati.
Why do you participate in this sport? What do you like about it?“I joined Cross Country freshman year on a whim. I told myself that I wanted to get involved with an activity as soon as I entered High School. With Mr. Baker being the head coach at the time, he recruited me out of his P.E. class. Ever since then, I have been a proud cross-country runner for Wayne and have had my best time improve by six and a half minutes. My favorite part of cross country is the social aspect.”
Name of someone you look up to and why?My biggest inspiration is my father, James Krauskopf. He works immensely hard for my family and never wavers. I hope one day I can provide for my future family the way he does for his.”
Congratulations to Matt & Jacoi!
