Boys Track – Regional co-Champs!

The boys track team overcame a rough start to the Regional Championships and earned 57 team points to tie with Centerville for the Regional title. Boys Track – District Champs!

The Wayne boys and girls track team competed in the District Championships this week in Piqua. The boys team won the District Championship by over 50 points to runner-up Springfield (153-96.5). The girls finished 3rd, behind Troy and Northmont. The boys advanced competitors in 13 of the 17 events to the Regional Championship next week.

45th Annual Senior Athlete Recognition Breakfast

Congratulations to all senior student-athletes who were recognized during the 45th annual Senior Athlete Recognition Breakfast. The event was held at the Huber Heights Athletic Foundation. Huber Heights City Schools staff members Kristen Amburgey and Christina McCullough were also recognized with awards. Boys Track: GWOC CHAMPS!

Congratulations to the boys track team for winning the division and overall GWOC Championship today in Troy. The boys were led by Zarik Brown who claimed the title in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dash along with placing in the 4×400 relay. The Warrios earned points in almost every event in the finals.
