Swim Team 2016-17
This weekend the boys and girls placed 3rd at the the Miamisburg Meet to open the season at WSU on Friday. A great start for our new and old swimmers.
On Sunday the boys placed 2nd and the girls placed 3rd at our first home meet, the Warrior Sprint meet, at the Huber Height YMCA.
Meghan Posey broke the school record, set in 2014 by Kayla Mullen, in the 100 Individual Medley, with a time of 1:12.55.
The girls 200 IM Relay, (Kaitlyn Reigle, Meghan Posey, Hailey Geiger, and Rayna Edwards) and Girls 200 Free Relay (Hailey Geiger, Meghan Posey, Rayna Edwards, and Kaitlyn Reigle) broke the meet records in their team events and Tyler Mullen broke his own meet record in the 50 Individual Backstroke. A great finish to the weekend!
Next week the Warriors head to the Trotwood-Greenon Invitational on Saturday and the Springfield Wildcat Invitational on Sunday.
